I like space.
For those who didn't know, you can currently see history, a comet that exploded on October 24 http://www.cnn.com/2007/TECH/space/11/05/brighter.comet.ap/
I am rather proud to say I know the night sky here well enough I noticed it a couple nights after I got home, and thought, "that blurry star isn't usually there." but it was there the next night, and the night after, so I just thought I'd never noticed it. Its getting fainter, but its still there. Just look straight up around 10 or 11 at night, you'll see three bright stars just north and west of the pleiades. Next to the three stars you'll see this fuzzy thing. That's it.
Also, next week is the Leonid meteor shower. It peaks on the 18th, but is already warming up. I saw one meteor last night and 3 tonight.
People should look up more.

The air was very icy today. It felt very christmasy. I liked it.
And it was like bargain day today in town! I got Matthew Friedberger's solo album for £3 (I have ordered it from Amazon already but I'm gonna see if I can return that order) and Battle Royale (the book) for £1.50. I also bought a new bag which I like very much, but that cost £35.. not a bargain, but not so bad - due to its prettiness

Coming fifth in last night's poker tourny at uni (of about 70) and winning £15, and getting enough points to put me fifth in the league of abuot 200) after five weeks. Brap. _________________ hello dave

Well England got lucky really Berni. Austria were fantastic and didnt deserve to lose. The scary thing is that austria are a very young team and i dread to think how good theyre gonna be when they gain a bit more experience. obviously not scary for you though.
