I don't mind the cover. I guess I never thought about book covers much. And I read a lot.
*Glances at bookshelves, could easily spend a couple hours looking at book covers now...* _________________ Randomanthony blogs at randomanthonyreturns.blogspot.com

The only thing I'm not too happy about is the gray color.
I think it could have even been better if they used a sort of more brown, autumn kind of color. _________________ Only the sea makes sense

I think that...
People are reading far too much into this cover.
That is all.
Oh, and I think that I'll read it regardless of what's on the dustcover.

| I expected something more like the booklet of BLAOR but I like it anyway. It doesn't matter that much. I absolutely hated the purple/green cover of Haruki Murakami's Norwegian wood, but man what a book...

I reckon that so-called sticker is probably integrated into the cover, rather than being an actual sticker. If it were a genuine sticker, it wouldn't be on the preview.
Place your bets now...

I like it, if only for the fact it doesn't look like an autobiography.
A lot of autobiographies are big ego trips with pictures of the "celebrity" (come to England and see all of our wonderful celebrity autobiographies *cough*Big Brother losers*cough*) plastered all over the back and front. This one looks, strangely, more personal. Almost like the Grandfather drew a picture for his Grandkids (or perhaps the other way around). It reminds me of a pre school fridge picture actually.
As for the sticker, that seems like a slight mockery of other celebrity books. They have massive blurbs that basically say the same thing but get padded out to try and sell it better.
One final point. The grey should be good since there aren't many grey books, let alone grey autobiographies so it should stand out and everyone will buy it, love it and make Eels the biggest band in the world. Ever.
Well, we can hope.
